Phosphor is an Android launcher drawn entirely in text. A big pixel clock, an ASCII sky that follows the real weather, live gauges, your notifications and your apps, all on one glowing screen.
The weather panel paints a sky that matches outside: the sun with turning rays, the moon in its real phase, clouds that drift with the actual wind, rain that splashes, snow, thunder and fog. Below it, the next hours as a curve and the next days at a glance. Weather comes from Open Meteo, so there is no account and no key.
The big panel can show weather, notifications or the monitor. Hold its title to swap.
Dark themes glow like an old monitor. Light themes print like ink on paper. Add rain, stars, embers or snow behind everything, and CRT glass on top.
No account. No ads. No analytics. Your notifications, calendar and apps never leave the phone. The only thing sent anywhere is your rough location, to fetch the weather. Read the policy.
